ClassesOur classes follow a routine which includes free play time both indoors and outdoors, circle time for music and stories, and a snack time. There is a balance of individual and group play, of quiet and active play. A challenging variety of activities is offered each day for the uniqueness of each child. Our program is multi-cultural and promotes sharing our diverse heritage.Each class curriculum is age appropriate and is developed and overseen by a credentialed teacher. A maximum 4:1 child/adult ratio is maintained in each class. Classes for the 2008-2009 School YearThere will be three class options offered at Bunker Hill for the 2008-2009 school year: a 2-Day morning class, a 3-Day morning class, and a Pre-K afternoon class.2-Day ClassTeacher: Juliana BrunoAges: 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years Class size: 20 children Time: Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:30 am Tuition: $150.00/month Participation: Parents participate one day for every two days the child attends school. 3-Day ClassTeacher/Director: Kelly BowerAges: 3 to 4 1/2 years Class size: 20 children Time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 am Tuition: $200.00/month Participation: Parents participate one day for every three days the child attends school. The Pre-K ClassTeacher: Rosie AdamAges: 4 years to kindergarten age Class size: 20 children Time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:30-3:00 pm Tuition: $260.00/month Participation: Parents participate one day for every four days the child attends school. Students attending Pre-K participate in an afternoon of planned activities aimed at developing readiness skills such as creative and independent thinking, problem solving, oral language, and cooperation.
